With compassion and cultural sensitivity, I have strived to help teens, adults, couples, and families build resilience in the face of adversity since 2017. Healing takes time and support. What you have experienced does not determine who you are, but it can impact how you feel about yourself, the world, and others. Therapy is a collaborative relationship when done right. Let's work together to facilitate a healthier, happier, YOU!

I look forward to taking this journey with you. I specialize in individual, couples, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and grief counseling for all stages of life. I utilize
Talk Therapy, Play Therapy, Gestalt Techniques, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy. I meet with clients in my office, or via Tele-Health (online). I look forward to hearing from you.

Engaging in counseling demonstrates that you are willing to face the issues that most people bury or cover-up. You are not willing to settle for Band-Aid or drive-through solutions. You want to address whatever it is that is hurting you and keeping you from the life that you want to live. I have over 22 years of experience and licensure in MT & WY. My career has been dedicated to working with adolescents, families, & adults both privately and in the medical field. (13 years in Psychiatry, Oncology, & Supportive/Palliative Care) I am certified in oncology and provide graduate & clinical supervision.
"Something will grow from all you are going through and it will be YOU.” Do you believe that and are you willing to do the work to get there?

We all have a story to share that does not have to be defined by our past. You have what it takes to write the next chapter of your life. I would consider it a privilege for you to allow me to walk alongside you and support you as you do. More than anything, I desire for you to know you have someone to walk with you. You are not alone. I believe that the best change happens when you feel ready for that change, so I will be very client-focused in our work together. It is important for us to find what works well for you. I am play-therapy-oriented and will use CBT along with other tools to help you in this next chapter of your life.

We all experience some level of emotional distress throughout life. Sometimes the distress can be more than we can manage on our own. I have over 25 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families to navigate distress related to adverse life events, anxiety, depression, oppositional behaviors, anger, social skills, poor communication, and self-esteem. My approach is client-centered. I believe people have an innate desire to be the best that they can and I provide the opportunity and encouragement to assist individuals in doing this. I utilize talk therapy, with techniques from cognitive behavioral, and dialectic behavioral therapy as well as components of art therapy and play therapy and I am trained in EMDR. I strive to provide a safe and compassionate space for life's challenges to be explored. My belief is that you are the authority in your circumstance and I’m here to partner with you to reach your goals. If you are distressed, emotionally drained or are simply needing someone to talk with, please reach out. We'll start this journey together.

Change, hardship, grief, and fear of the unknown are inevitable parts of the human experience. While well-intentioned, the ways that we often try to cope with these life developments can be ineffective or even self-destructive. As your therapist, I hope to provide tailored education for your mental health needs, develop your insight, and utilize your personal strengths to foster personal growth, find fulfillment, and overcome any grief or trauma that's interfering with your ability to live the life you desire.
Working with adolescents and adults, I use strength-based and integrative approaches. Most prominently, I utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I use these modalities to help clients evolve their approach to/with their thinking and overcome unhealthy coping strategies such as self-harm.
Taking the first step to reach out and get help is a courageous one. Please know that if you take a chance on me, a compassionate ear is waiting.

I believe life is like a hiking trail, it has highs and lows. There are complexities in people, places, and things. Life can be easy or can be difficult and can require tools and equipment to keep moving. It can be easy to feel overwhelmed and outmatched. I like to think of therapy as one of the tools that can help navigate the trail. As a practitioner, I like to see myself hiking guide. I want to walk with you on the trail, equip you with the right tools, and empower you to move confidently through the ups and downs of life.

Life can be beautiful, messy, and hard — sometimes all at once. I am someone who shows up as a real person in the room. I work best with people navigating identity, trauma, transitions, and relationships (including the one with yourself). My goal is to create a space where you don’t have to explain everything, where you feel seen and supported as you sort through what’s heavy or unclear. Whatever you may go through, I will meet you where you are.

We face challenges at every stage of our lives - whether you're a child navigating big emotions, a teen coping with change, or an adult working through stress, anxiety, or past trauma. My role as a therapist is to walk alongside you, help you build coping skills, discover your strengths, and find a greater sense of peace and balance. I recognize the impact that culture, identity, and lived experiences have on our well-being, and I strive to honor each client's unique story with respect and humility.
I use a person-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive approach, creating a safe, compassionate space where your voice is heard and valued. I integrate evidence-based practices such as CBT and DBT. For younger children, I integrate play and art therapy approaches to encourage self-expression and healing.
Taking the step to begin therapy is courageous. I would be honored to join you or your child on this journey and provide a space where healing, growth, and hope are possible.

If you've been through a lot, you might feel like it's hard to trust, hard to relax or like you're always waiting for the other shoe to drop. Maybe you've had to do a lot to survive? Maybe now you're wondering how to actually feel safe, connected, or at peace? If that sounds familiar, you're not alone, and you're not broken. My focus is on creating a space where you don't have to justify your pain or hide the parts of yourself that have helped you get through. I'll meet you with warmth, authenticity, honesty, and respect. We'll move at a pace that feels right for you.

I work with Sentinel Mental Health Inc., under the supervision of a licensed professional, Jennifer Finn. I am located in Miles City, MT, and currently offer virtual sessions. I have worked with adult individuals who deal with a variety of challenges, including complex trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and anger.

I pull from different trauma-informed approaches, including mindfulness, understanding the brain-body connection, motivation building, and gentle skills for managing emotions so we can find out what works best for you. You don't have to figure it all out on your own. If you're ready to begin, I'm here to help you find light in the dark seasons.
